Be Your Best

Do you work to be your best? I was reading earlier and came across the following quote from Ralph Marston

“Don’t lower your expectations to meet your performance. Raise your level of performance to meet your expectations. Expect the best of yourself, and then do what is necessary to make it a reality. “

How often do we accept a lower standard of performance from ourselves, in either our working or personal lives, than we are capable of?

Do you ever find yourself saying “It will do” when you complete a piece of work? However, inside you are thinking “that’s not my best work.”

If we expect the best of ourselves and strive to always perform at our best then we can raise our performance to meet our expectations. When we stumble we can learn from the experience and the next time we can aim to be our best.

Go on……Be Your Best!
